Update On My Life

 Hi everyone! I know we have been TERRIBLE at updating the blog since summer started, so I'mma just do a big update. Can't say anything about Naomi though because her family has been traveling a lot so we haven't been talking a lot. But here's my update, at least!

1. I update my pinterest account way more than I update the blog, so feel free to check that out every once and a while for more frequent updates!





2. After my buck with Vegas, I am having a lot of trouble getting confidence back 😞

So I rode this big 17 hh bay warmblood gelding named Ike for my past two lessons, and for my next lesson I'm going to ride a little 15 or so hh paint/thoroughbred gelding named Hunter.

Also, Vegas bucked another rider twice and she broke her collarbone 😬. This rider is a professional who rides an olympic-level warmblood mare, so that's really bad. 

So I'm not really looking forward to riding Vegas again 😳


3. But I have totally fallen in love with Ike!! He is big, which is the size I need for how tall I am. So he's 17 hh (my favorite size), he's a dark bay (one of my favorite coat colorations), he has a silly personality, but is spectacular under saddle. He never offers a buck, kick, or bite. And he's a warmblood!! He's practically perfect in every way 🥰

 Hello! We are starting a new series - the 30 day challenge. Every day for 30 days we will post following this schedule -  I got this idea from Annika Lorraine  (click the link to check out her blog!!) Naomi’s Easy Gluten Free Cookies

Ok, so sorry Amelia, but Naomi has a cookie recipe TO DIE FOR that actually DOES NOT include flour! I know, right? (its a lot easier then Amelia's, too.) So they are technically gluten-free, but you heard it from me you seriously will not be able to tell the difference. Let’s get baking! (hey, amelia here. just saying if you love the taste of cookie dough, my cookies taste like that but are healthier and slightly different) Ingredients: 1 cup peanut butter  🥜 🧈 3/4 cup sugar 1 egg 1/2 tsp baking soda 1/4 tsp salt 1 cup choc. chips Preheat the oven to 350 degrees   Fahrenheit. Mix the first 5 ingredients with a wooden spoon an add choc chips.  Get hands damp so no dough sticks to your hands. Get a baking sheet. Make small balls (as large as you want the cookies to be since these don’t spread as they bake as much as regular) MAKE SURE YOU HAVE PARCHMENT PAPER UNDERNEATH!  Then, put them in the oven until golden brown (about 18-20 minutes).
