My Horse Show Packing List

 Hi all, 

this is my horse show packing list! Since horse show season is coming fast, I wanted to share it with y’all! Keep in mind this is only for me, because I have a trainer who supplies all of the hay, lunge equipment, etc! I always print it out and double check everything!

Horse Show Packing List


For the rider:

  • Sweat pants, shirt, light coat, tennis shoes 

  • Helmet (and cover, if needed) 

  • Casual riding 

    • Pants/shirt

    • Riding boots/half chaps 

  • Show apparel (in garment/plastic bags)

    • Show pants

    • Show shirt

    • Show jacket/riding jacket

    • Belt

  • Show boots

  • Gloves

  • Weather gear (heavy jacket, heavy gloves, hand/toe warmers, warm hat, rain coat, muck boots/winter boots)

  • Hair stuff

    • Brush, hair ties, hair net, hair spray


Grooming Supplies:

  • Grooming tote

    • Braiding supplies, if needed

    • Curry comb

    • Soft and hard brushes

    • Hoof pick

    • Brush and comb

  • Detangler, ShowSheen, Soap/conditioner, baby powder, water spray bottle


Tack:

  • Saddle and cover

    • Stirrup leathers and irons

    • Girth

  • Saddle pads 

    • schooling square pad

    • show fitted pad

  • Bridle (reins, bits, schooling/showing)

  • Halters and leads (regular, showing, trailering) 

  • Spurs (if needed)

  • Leather cleaner/conditioner/oil

  • Sponges


Horse Gear:

  • Halter (and extra)

  • Crop

  • Boots/wraps 

  • Blankets

  • Cooler

  • Fly spray/bonnet

  • Treats


Extra Stuff:

  • Food

  • Water

  • Cash

  • Sunscreen, bug spray

  • Lint roller/stain remover

I got confused with the whole The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe versus The Magicians Nephew, but it all worked out fine and I enjoyed the series anyway. Never have I ever: Burned a book.  Hello! We are starting a new series - the 30 day challenge. Every day for 30 days we will post following this schedule -  I got this idea from Annika Lorraine  (click the link to check out her blog!!) Naomi’s Easy Gluten Free Cookies

Ok, so sorry Amelia, but Naomi has a cookie recipe TO DIE FOR that actually DOES NOT include flour! I know, right? (its a lot easier then Amelia's, too.) So they are technically gluten-free, but you heard it from me you seriously will not be able to tell the difference. Let’s get baking! (hey, amelia here. just saying if you love the taste of cookie dough, my cookies taste like that but are healthier and slightly different) Ingredients: 1 cup peanut butter  🥜 🧈 3/4 cup sugar 1 egg 1/2 tsp baking soda 1/4 tsp salt 1 cup choc. chips Preheat the oven to 350 degrees   Fahrenheit. Mix the first 5 ingredients with a wooden spoon an add choc chips.  Get hands damp so no dough sticks to your hands. Get a baking sheet. Make small balls (as large as you want the cookies to be since these don’t spread as they bake as much as regular) MAKE SURE YOU HAVE PARCHMENT PAPER UNDERNEATH!  Then, put them in the oven until golden brown (about 18-20 minutes).
