Equestrian Blogs I Read :)
Hi all, just wanted to share a few still-updating Equestrian blogs that I love to read, and you might, too.
1. Me Jump Pretty One Day
Jump Pretty is an interesting and humorous blog about life as a show jumper working through life as a human. She doesn’t update super often, but it’s totally worth the read when she does :)
2. She Moved To Texas
Absolutely one of my favorite blogs! It’s so insightful and inspiring! You can read my article here: She Moved To Texas article
3. In Due Horse
In Due Horse is a blog about Louise and, well, her horses! It’s not only horse related, you also hear about her life. It’s a truthful and simple blog that I totally recommend for anyone looking for a light but relatable read.
4. Horse Rookie
Horse Rookie is a blog I 100% recommend for anyone new to the world of horses. Well, anyone who wants to constantly be going deeper into the horse world, anyway! It has lots of tutorials and information on all sorts of things you need to know. It’ll tell you what to bring on different rides, what to wear to shows, how much it costs to own a horse, and so much more! 10/10 recommend!!
5. Coco Cheval
Okay, not my absolute favorite on the list as she doesn’t update nearly as often as these others, but still super fun for a quick easy read.
Three Chestnuts is a humorous and truthful blog about, well, a lady and her three Chestnuts!! She updates fairly regularly, and I like to check in and read her blog whenever I can. She has since graduated to a bay horse, and you can follow their journeys at that link up there 👆.
This blog is about Holly and her horse, a cool ‘flecked’ appaloosa. She doesn’t update a ton anymore, but still a fun read when she does!
She updates fairly often, and when she does, I love it! She has two horses and a pony (hence the name, lol), and rides in a variety of styles. I love reading her blog because it’s really funny and truthful. She’s got and amazing blog, so I totally recommend!!
This blog is purely happy. She has a horse and (duh) a pug, and she loves them both (a lot). I’m not gonna write a long description because she doesn’t post super often, but oh, well. When she does post, it’s a fun and happy read!!
She doesn’t update a ton, but when she does it’s usually pretty interesting and informative. She has DIYs, horse stuff, life stuff, and more. Definitely recommend checking it out, though not my favorite on the list.
Love this blog!! She updates a lot, and as the title says, it’s super nice and thoughtful. She owns a horse named Theo, and it’s so cool to read through her story. She deals with real-life, real-horse problems that you can totally relate to and learn from. Anyway, 10/10 recommend.
12. Gooseback Riding
This blog is hilarious and sweet. It’s a very good blog, though she doesn’t update all the time. She has a funny grey (aka Goose) who is lovable and very naughty (in a good way). I recommend it for sure, though you won’t have an update every day :)
She updates fairly often, and while her blog isn’t quite as funny as some of the others on the list, it’s definitely still a fun read. It’ll help you learn a lot about horseback riding and living with horses, so absolutely recommend!
14. My Name Is Paul
Sadly, this blog is no longer updated. But I still recommend reading through Paul’s stories when you get a chance. He was such a fun loving, sweet boy, and I hope he will enjoy the other side. Rest In Peace, Paul :’(
15. I is Roxie!
Simular to My Name Is Paul, I is Roxie! is a funny blog by a beautiful draft cross. Follow her hilarious stories about trails, family, babies, and more!! Roxie doesn’t update a lot, but at least once a month is still amazing! 10/10 recommended!!!
Follow the life of a, well, semi feral equestrian and her Arabians learning dressage. It’s funny and informative, and even though it doesn’t update a ton, I definitely recommend.
17. Pony Express
She doesn’t update super often, but when she does it’s cool. She has an Arabian, and she’s fun and interesting. Totally check it out!
18. Lyrical Equine
Lyrical Equine is a really fun blog! She updates every couple of days, and it’s funny when she does! It’s really relatable and awesome. She’s a really cool person, and I absolutely recommend.
19. A Enter Spooking
This is a really good blog! She updates pretty often, and she’s cool. It’s really nice and relatable. I definitely recommend, though it’s not my favorite on the list.
20. One Bud Wiser
Definitely an awesome blog. She’s got two awesome horses and is an awesome dressage diva! Her blog is super relaxing and I always check in. She doesn’t update a ton, but it’s still really great.
This blog is so cool!! She’s really funny and relatable, and you can learn so many cool techniques just from reading. She has a gorgeous dappled grey, and it’s super cool to listen to her (read?). Anyway, love it!
22. Cob Jockey
Awesome blog!! She’s really cool and funny, so absolutely recommend!! And hop over there quick ‘cause there’s a filly!!
Totally recommend. She’s super fun and funny! She has a gigantic palomino mare and events. Absolutely get over there and check out that gorgeous mare!
