How To Knit A Scarf For Beginners

Hi all!
Amelia here. I have recently started to knit, and I figured that I could share the best tutorials that I found. So here goes!

The first website I used is on WikiHow. It tells you how to knit a scarf, without any of the specific instructions (like how to cast on and off).

Then I used Simple Knitting. This link shows you to single cast on with in-depth step-by-step instructions.

The next site I used was Crafts Tutsplus, and Simple Knitting. These show how to do a simple knit stitch.

Last, I used Simple Knitting again. It shows you how to cast off.

I hope these step-by-step instructions help you to knit a beautiful scarf!

30 Day Challenge!

 Hello! We are starting a new series - the 30 day challenge.  Hi everyone, Amelia here today. You might have seen the list of links on our side bar: Well one of those blogs is  She Moved to Texas , a blog about Love, Loss & Horses. I just recently discovered this blog in late March, and since have followed it continuously.  Lauren Mauldin’s blog is so inspiring to equestrians and (ehem) normal people alike. She has a dappled grey gelding named Poet, and you can follow her through the course of their relationship in a journey of joy and pain. This blog has so many stories that make you say ‘Wait a minute, I’m not the only one’, stories that make you laugh, and stories that make you cry.  It’s so inspiring to read about a fellow equestrian that has suffered so much and still finds refuge in the world of horses.
