DIY Washi Tape Light-switch Covers!

Hello, Everybody! Happy Thanksgiving from LLR! It’s been such a long time since I have blogged because I was so busy with school starting up again, but I recently came across an amazing craft that is super easy and a HUGE boredom buster! Like you might have seen from the title, today I will be walking you step by step through the simple process of making your very own personalized washi tape light - switch cover. It’s super easy and super fun! Let’s get started!

For this craft you will need the following supplies -

 - A light - switch cover

 - Washi Tape

- A screwdriver

 - an alcohol swab (optional)

- clear packing tape (optional)

You will need the screwdriver to get the light - switch cover off of the wall. Once you have the cover off of the wall,  you can use the alcohol swab to clean the surface of the cover. This part is optional, however the times when I did clean it, I was able to get a lot of stuff off and the tape stuck to the cover even better. If you don’t have an alcohol swab, you should probably use a damp paper towel at least.

Now you can start to layer the tape. You can use one kind, or layer multiple types. It all up to you! After you’re done decorating, you have an option. You can either put it back on the wall as it is, or add some more security by covering it carefully with clear packing tape. This is optional, but I found that it helped to keep the washi tape secure.

I hope this helps you to fancy-up your light switches!
Keep living life random,
Amelia & Naomi
